Porcel offers its customers several options to customize or create pieces, produced with the finest porcelain.
The backstamp customization is a simple way for a client to create an adaptation of one of our existing pieces by adding an image of their choice to the underside of the piece. The piece is fundamentally unchanged but will still be unique because the customer's own logo or special message will be present.
If the customization uses an already existing decoration, the personalized project aims to add only a small adjustment of the decoration on a piece chosen by the customer from Porcel's current catalogue. The project consists of introducing an element proposed by the client that will make Porcel's piece become their own, special object. Typically, the customization involves changing a color, adding a logo into the decoration of the piece, adding a unique motif, a date, or perhaps a dedication.
Concerning the development of your own decoration, it usually comes from an idea, a concept or a design. The decor may be submitted on paper or in digital format, and it's subsequently adapted to the shape of the piece, or pieces, previously chosen. This adjustment can be made by the client or Porcel's Design Department.
Porcel also develops pieces from scratch (shape) through artworks and sketches, in 2D or 3D, CAD (Computer-Aided Design) or handmade modeling.
The customer presents the concept's sketch and Porcel develops the desired piece.
Porcel also gives you the possibility to further personalize the pieces of our collections by adding a monogram to the chosen piece.
This personalization can be made in any tableware range available at Porcel, adapting the monogram to the decoration chosen.
Regardless of the customer's option of customization, Porcel's logo and the inscription Portugal (country of origin of our production) will always make part of the piece.
